My Street

In every house on my street there are different people living

listen closely you can hear them happy, laughing, singing, dancing just like

In number one my friend Siobhán lives with her brother and her mum 

Number two’s a chipper “yum!” Maybe we’ll have chips for dinner

Three students live in number three they go to university

My friend Mo lived in number four but doesn’t live there anymore

Agnieska lives in number five she waves, says hi when I go by 

In number six there’s Mick and Bill with flowers on their window sill  

Kevin lives in number seven I go there for piano lessons 

In number eight lives artist Kate her t-shirts always splashed with paint

In every house on my street there are different people

Wind Turbine

On the hill behind the school there’s a wind turbine
